The Severn Foundation School Innovations Day is an opportunity for foundation trainees to submit audits or projects undertaken during the year.

Submitted pieces of work will be considered for either the poster category or the verbal presentation category.

Posters will be peer reviewed on the day and the trainees with the top 3 selected posters will be invited to present their poster verbally during the afternoon.

The oral presentations will be judged by a panel during the afternoon.

Both verbal and poster presentations are classified as a regional presentation.

In order to be considered for short listing, please submit an abstract of 200 words maximum to Leander Dearnley by Friday 24th May 2014.

Any F1's that have work short listed for the day need to book a place via Leander Dearnley

The day counts as a usual F2 regional teaching day and should be booked via the MLE (Managed Learning Environment) system.  Places are allocated on a first come first served basis.  For more information, see F2 MLE Booking Instructions

The programme uses days from the study leave allocation. Study leave will need to be agreed and booked prior to booking on to the courses.

Severn’s Regional F2 Teaching Programme encourages foundation trainees to experience training as part of the Foundation School, enabling us to use the faculty members who are keen to deliver proven educational material as required by the Foundation Curriculum and also offers an opportunity for trainees to network, an important part of professional development.
