RCOG Careers Fair

We are pleased to tell you that the next RCOG Careers Fair is to be held on Saturday 17 November 2012 from 9am.

This is a unique opportunity to discover more about working in obstetrics and gynaecology and we would much appreciate you forwarding on this information to those who would find it useful, particularly students and foundation year doctors.

The fair allows students and foundation year doctors to meet clinicians at all levels to discuss how to get into O&G. There are drop-in sessions to ask any specific questions about their career so far and how to maximise career options in the future. They can find out about the application process for entering O&G specialty training pathways and the variety of ways in which they can work within O&G. They can even try their hand at virtual reality laparoscopy and hysteroscopy and have a go at dealing with obstetric difficulties and emergencies using dummy trainers!
