Practical Introduction to ICU
Category: Foundation - General
Date: July 28th 2012
Location: University College Hospital, London NW1 2BU
The course is designed for foundation doctors, core medical trainees, and ACCS trainees with little or no experience in ICU, and has been running successfully for the last four years. The course includes practical sessions (airway management, using a ventilator, central lines, chest drains), lectures and small groups teaching. Our course is also highly recommended for doctors who wish to pursue a career in Intensive Care medicine.
We have received a tremendous amount of positive feedback from our previous delegates and one of them has also written a review of our course in the BMJ. (BMJ Careers, June 2008)
The course is run twice every year, and our next course is scheduled to be held on 28 July 2012 at the Education Centre at University College Hospital, London.
