Managing the acutely unwell older adult

Unwell older adults are making up an increasing number of admissions to the acute take, as well as a higher proportion of unwell inpatients. They are often multimorbid and not always suitable for all levels of care. This one day course  with a mixture or lectures and SIM sessions is designed to help you look for and manage geriatric syndromes, get practical experience managing an acutely deteriorating older adult, as well as some interactive role play in managing complex MDT discussions.

Study Leave must be agreed and booked in advance and places are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
