Are you a Foundation Doctor? Are you interested in Psychiatry or keen to find out more? Then the South West Autumn Psychiatry School is for you!

It's taking place on 30th and 31st October 2018 at Fromeside, Bristol, BS16 1EG.

This is a FREE two-day event with a packed programme of interesting and inspiring sessions delivered by Consultants and Trainees working in Severn Deanery that will give you an insider’s view of Psychiatry.
This event has been running since 2013, and this year we are delighted that some of the sessions will be facilitated by former attendees of the Autumn School.

Sessions include:
- Networking event - speed dating with a wide variety of psychiatry sub-specialities
- ‘A life in Psychiatry’ - hear from a core trainee, advanced trainee, and consultant as they speak about

their achievements, aspirations, memorable cases and tips for those starting out in psychiatry
- History of psychiatry and museum tour - find out a bit about where the specialty began and how it's changed

before going on a free visit to the Glenside Museum

- Theatre performance and Q&A with The Misfits
- Clinical Masterclasses - learn how to take your communication skills to the next level with our masterclass
- All this and more PLUS you get a certificate to put in your portfolio (and a free lunch!)

Spaces are limited. If you would like to apply or have further queries please email bristolautumnschool@gmail.com by 24th September 2018.

This event has been made possible by the kind support and sponsorship of the Royal College of Psychiatrists South West Division Executive Committee, AWP Medical education and the Severn Deanery.
