A Career in Surgery (CiS) conference

We are pleased to announce the date for the 1st 'A Career in Surgery' (CiS) conference, which shall be taking place on Saturday 21st September 2013 at The Royal Society of Medicine.
The conference is aimed at medical students and junior doctors who wish to gain an insight into a career in surgery. 'A Career in Surgery' is a full day event that focuses on providing detailed information about all the surgical specialties, to help delegates make more informed decisions about their future careers. It brings together higher surgical trainees from different fields to share insights of the realities of a surgical career in the modern NHS. The day will comprise of lectures, small group discussions and Q&A sessions. Delegates will have an opportunity to submit an abstract for poster presentation and win a prize.
The conference is awarded 6 CPD points by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Places are limited. The conference fee is as follows:
Medical Students - £75
Doctors (all grades) - £100
An Early Bird discount of 20% is available before 15th August 2013.
