The course is a non-profit all day interactive course aimed at foundation doctors and senior medical students with the following aims:
-To understand the anatomy displayed on a normal CXR
-To develop a robust system when interpreting CXRs
-To be able to diagnose common and important pathologies including pneumonia, lobar collapse, pleural effusions and pneumothorax.
-To be able to pick up and localise mediastinal masses.
-To be able to identify important lines and tubes often seen on a CXR
