Category: Foundation - General
Date: April 27th 2013 9:30am until 4:00pm
Location: Aintree University Hospital, Liverpool L9 7AL
This hands-on study day will provide an honest introduction to embarking on training in abdominal ultrasound. There is a strong demand for learning ultrasound by non radiologists/non sonographers, and a dearth of opportunities. We will explain available paths to achieving accreditation and demonstrate required skills. The instructors have over 10 years experience in performing these examinations and a busy clinical practice, including training prospective ultrasound users.
The study day is aimed at Trainees in Medicine and Surgery, Trainee GPs, Radiographers thinking about training in ultrasound. It would also benefit prospective and junior Radiology Trainees.
It has been allocated 5 Category 1 CPD points by the Royal College of Radiologists.
