The British Society of Interventional Radiology would like to invite you to a free session on Friday 6th November in the SECC Centre, Glasgow. This runs from 11 am to 4 pm but delegates will also be welcome to attend the Friday morning (day 3) of the BSIR meeting.

They would also like to invite to you  to enter a BSIR essay scholarship competition for medical students and foundation doctors to win prizes to attend the whole BSIR meeting and up to £300 to cover travel and accommodation expenses. Please respond with short essays by 30th September.

The programme for the free session includes highly renowned speakers on Careers  and IR Curriculum, European Board exam (eBIR) , Future of IR and Robotics, and IR and Trauma and Oncological managements.

In the afternoon, we are running 3 concurrent interactive workshops in tumour ablation devices, radio /chemoembolisation, vascular embolisation (coils, plugs and liquid embolics), and arterial closure devices.

The BSIR Trainee's day is designed for delegates of all levels: IR Trainee's / Fellows, Radiology Registrars, Foundation doctors and Medical Students interested in IR with subjects to appeal to all.
